67834 | MRS. D. SHIPPERUS (sic) PASSES AWAY --- Aged Resident of Stoddard Street a Victim of the Ills of Old Age. --- Mrs. D. Shipperus, who had reached the ripe old age of 87 years, died at the home of her son, P. D. Shipperus at Holmes and Stoddard streets on the north side early yesterday morning. The ills attendant upon old age were the cause of death. Mrs. Shipperus came to Montana in 1900, accompanied by her husband, intending to pass the remainder of her days with her son, who was then a resident of Hamilton. In Hamilton, Mr. Shipperus passed away in 1902, having reached the age of 92 years. Mr. and Mrs. Shipperus were the parents of twelve children. P. D. Shipperus, being the only one of the large family who has survived them. The funeral will take place from her late residence at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. | Haakman, Elizabeth Barbara (I1432)

67839 | much of Jacobus family is conjecture taken from Tresoar, "De Heeren van den Raede", and other websites. The births of both Maaikes fit with Aaltje Edingh being their mother. Alegunda's mother IS Attje Ens. How Hendrik fits into the family is uncertain. I've also conjectured that Jacobus was actually married three times, the third time with Anna van Rhoda. The time periods fit well. Anna van Rhoda WAS married to a Jacobus Recalf who was secretaris van Tietjerksteradeel. | Recalff, Jacobus (I34124)
