    • "18 jaar op de boerderij van zijn vader gewoont en ondanks dat zijn broers overleden ging hij niet door met de veehouderij van zijn vader maar begon een Cafe herberg (dus Kastelein als beroep). Kort na de geboorte van hun 6e kind verlieten zij het Cafe en gingen in Alkmaar wonen. Hij bleef Kastelein als beroep maar dan bij iemand in loondienst. Op hun 50 jarige trouwdag viel zijn vrouw tijdens een kopje thee van de stoel en was op slag dood." [1]
