    • are Baukje Rinses and Baukje Gerrits the same person?? If they are, then the first five children were born before their marriage in 1766. If they are not, then the mother of Rinske, Brandt, Cimen and Antje were baptized as children of Baukje Rinses even though by that time Doede Doedes was married to Baukje Gerrits. I have not found a marriage record for Doede Doedes and Baukje Rinses. To muddy the issue, the death record for Doede Doedes in 1817 gives his wife's name as Baukje Brands! I will assume that they are the same unless otherwise verified. That means the first five children were born before the marriage in 1766.
